"New Year, New Me"
Well, it's that time again...the gym will be packed, the healthy food will be all sold out and new resolutions will be made. What are your goals for 2016?
I am going to share a few of goals for this new year and I hope to hear back from you all about what your's are!
1. Lower my Body Fat Percentage
People get misconceive this statement a lot...NO I don't necessarily want to lose weight, I want to GAIN IT. By lowering my Body Fat Percentage I am building more muscle than I have fat. I am currently sitting at around 26-28% Body Fat percentage and my goal for 2016 is to get down to 20-21%.
2. Do more to help others
I fall short of what I want to be, I always have and probably always will but in 2016 I want to get closer to that person. My goal here is to help others, point blank, period. Not just in "charity" or "paying it forward", but in any case. If I see someone with a flat tire in the rain, struggling, I want to get out and help not think "it's raining and cold, they can do it by theirselves or someone else will stop." I feel as though I help others now, but I know I can always do more.
3. Be a better friend
I have the BEST group of friends God ever created, but once again, I feel as though I fall short. In 2016, I want to be a better friend to the people that have held me together.
4. GO TO THE ARNOLD!! MEET DLB!!
I WILL MEET DANA BAILEY...I will go to the Arnold Classic, I will shake Dana Bailey's hand and I will die a happy woman.
5. Work on my Endurance
I could lift weights for a full 24 hours and be just fine (with enough pre pre) but you put me on a treadmill, elliptical, track, etc. for 5 minutes and I'll be ready to die. I never have had good endurance and am fully convinved I will never run a mile solid BUT I do promise to work on that this year.
Along with my top 5 goals for 2016, I want to keep climbing the ladder; I plan to get stronger, build new muscles, love myself a little more every day and hopefully grow as a person in general. I challenge all my readers to do the same. Conquer these new 365 days without fear and without doubting yourself. Whether your goals are fitness related, family orientated, diet related, etc. I have complete faith in you.
Let me know YOUR goals and how you plan on kicking their ass!
