Setting Some BIG Goals
With the new year, came new goals to be set. I like to "Go Big or Go Home" so I set to bigger scaled goals for myself...
1. Compete in a Tough Mudder in June
2. Get aceepted to Evan Childs "Alpha Female" Program and become an Alpha.
With the Tough Mudder, comes great responsibilty...okay, maybe not that, but it is a little intimidating. They just released the previews for the obstacle courses, both Tough Mudder and the Half. I plan to participate in the Half, in Virginia, on June 12, 2016.
Why don't you do the full, Linds? Good question! Like I said before, this whole event is a little intimidating, especially to people who aren't confident they can handle all the course and since this is turned into a "teamwork" obstacle course, I want my teammates and myself to be confident. I don't think the thought of getting 10,000 volts of electricity is something all of my teammates would jump for joy about.
Second reason, I want to HAVE FUN and feel accomplished. I don't want to dreading the next obstacle or fail at the same thing, just to wind up not finishing and feeling defeated. If I take on the half and conquer it, the full one is next on my list! The particpation requirements are Drink Beer. Be Awesome. Repeat...Uh deal...
Buy your ticket, it includes participation. a t-shirt, a headband, beer (YES, BEER), and free photography all day!
With that being said...IF YOU WANNA JOIN ME, PLEASE CONTACT ME! I would love to have any one that is seriously interested, on my team.
You won't be alone, can't get over that wall? We will get someone to lift you and someone to pull you, you WILL get over it!

Next on my list, APLHA PROGRAM! This one isn't as easy as just buying a ticket, or a program, and going with it. I have to send in my application, get accepted and devote all my spare time (by spare I mean the other 16 hours I have outside from work) to becoming an Alpha.
Why do I want to be an alpha? I want to do this for so many reasons. I lack in multiple places fitness wise. I put in the work and the time, I am devoted but I don't eat the way I need to and I feel like I could train in some different ways than my set ways I have now.
This isn't about proving myself to anyone, it is about proving myself to me. I haven't had the confidence that I get from weight training, my entire life, I just got it around a year ago. In order to stay on track and to keep building myself up, I need to keep reaching for new goals, like becoming an Alpha.
Her 12 week Alpha program begins before the Tough Mudder, meaning it can help me prepare for it! Like seriously, two birds with one stone here people!
And let's be honest...if it came from Evan Childs' head, I am interested.
On another note, the Alpha Program application process IS OPEN. Go and get your applications to her ASAP if you are interested in becoming an Alpha. All of the details are on her website: http://www.evanchildsfitness.com/alpha-female.html
I'd love to hear all of my followers' goals for 2016 and would love some feedback on the Tough Mudder. Help me make an unstoppable team!
